Staff aren't very friendly. Not like they are even very busy. Maybe remove the i-site designation so visitors have a realistic expectation of the help they're likely to get? NB The reason this place has such high ratings is because people are rating the Redwoods and the canopy walk, which are great. If you filter those out, you'll see the ratings are pretty low.

Rotorua NZ is a 5-6 hour drive from Wellington and it's full of beautiful activities and adventures On your first evening, head to Redwoods Treewalk Rotorua at night - the best time to go is just before sunset so you can watch the lights turn on and avoid the later crowds

I had a cup of coffee in a throw away cup I enjoyed it but my friend did not. I was a bit concerned that one of the staff members called a customer a bit dumb . Send in kiwi hoast please or you might lose customers . If you hire people tain them to respect customers.

Great forest walks.

We completed the green hike (1.5hrs) - it was breathtaking throughout the hike. Walking through the very tall redwood trees helped create a calming feel and scenery - very therapeutic.

I decided to buy 3 coffees from the cafe while having lunch outside. The warm (not hot) coffee was a nice flavour but a complete rip off regarding value for money. The so called large cup would in the majority of cafes be called a small and the medium size cup was an absolute insult to call it a medium. If this is how we are going to treat our visitors either domestic or international then I would be embarrassed , as a local to recommend ever buying a coffee here. We should, at a premiere tourist attraction site be significantly better than the poor value for money I received. Steve Franklin Rotorua
