Lovely tranquil place. With a toilet and picnic tables. Beside a bike trail that goes a long way in either direction. What more could anyone want?

A little chilly today but usually a great swimming hole. Great free camp

Very lovely spot. But some advice to all those parking up overnight. Shut all your doors and windows well before it gets dark to keep out the sand flies, mosquitoes and moths.

Lovely spot, pretty little lake and some walks or bike rides to be had around the area by the lake and along the clutha river. Bird scarer goes during the day, but not a problem for us.

Nice quiet place to stay in a camper overnight.

Pinders Pond, a Historical Place from early Otago gold rush times, is a great place for a picnic, swim or camp (certified self contained only). A beautiful spot besides the Clutha River, at East Roxburgh, for enroute to Beaumont (South) or Roxburgh/Roxburgh Hydro Dam (North), and onto Alexandra.

Good place to free camp but the water doesn't look too inviting for a swim.

Great place to stay very clean and tidy
