I stopped there many times, wanting to support a local business. Unfortunately, they’d never had a vegetarian one. My boyfriend’s always liked the ones he bought and I’d love to give it a try, but... It’s a pity they offer no vegetarian option but like heaps with meat... I wish the shop realized there’s no need of eating meat 24/7 and they might attract more customers by offering some veggie ones...

Worth it! Randomly read about it in a travel guide (which I don't normally go with) and I'm so glad I tried one. Had a mutton pie and every bite was delicious. Filling was well-seasoned, tasty and the quality of meat was excellent. The crust was substantial, flaky and screamed of homemade goodness.

Driving through Roxburgh dropped in for a good hot coffee and a sweet bite, served by friendly, efficient staff. Delicious.

Nice! Drove by and needed to stop. We had kind of a "Jimmy's pie tasting" ;) we had 4 pies, and all soooo good, fresh and homemade. Nice and helpful staff. We had: minced/cheese, chicken/brie/plumsauce, lamp shaft and the steak pie. All good.

I only found out about this place a couple of weeks ago. Went to Queenstown and drove down to Roxburgh. Let me tell you, it was worth the trip down. The Mince and Cheese, and Mince pie were out of this world. You guys need to start spreading further than Christchurch.
