We were there on Easter Sunday, busy but we were well attended to. Great food, especially the pizza, great wine, great position and very chilled out atmosphere with kids, dogs, adults having fun on a beautiful day. Thanks guys!

Great view of the bay from this vineyard over the vines. It mixes all classes of clients well with a formal dinning area, covered dinning tables in the courtyard or picnic benches on the grass. Dogs are allowed on a lead and children can burn off energy after eating racing between the lines of vines which can be seen from the tables. There is a walk from the end of the vines to a view point. We shared wood fired pizzas and a tasting platter accompanied by a flight of wines. The access road was gravel, in good repair and would easily be covered by a car or campervan.

We booked a family function here and it was very cool. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. Gorgeously presented platters to nibble on. Delicious wines (the rose was a favourite). You can also take advantage of a free van from Russell. Definately worth booking if more than 2 of you.
Great experience for an afternoon of chilling out, enjoying the weather, vineyard, wine and food, everything in one place! Wine tasting and the sommelier was very friendly and knowledgeable, who took the time of answering our questions and just making the best out of the experience. Then we moved to one of the restaurant area where we order an antipasta platter and the a few pizzas. All food was amazing the only cons is that even though we asked a few times for our platter, it came after the pizzas were finish...which doesn’t make any sense as should have been before mains... Other than that everything was great. Overall is still 5!!
This vineyard is absolutely spectacular! We were picked up by their free shuttle service from the Russell town centre. Then, we had the most amazing woodfire pizza in our lives - pear blue cheese and seafood, and still can't get over how delicious they were 24 hours later. Did I mention being able to do wine tasting at the table, accompanied by the amazing sea view? A highly recommended must-visit spot in Russell. A
If you are holidaying in Russell, Omata Estate Vineyard is a must do. The drive is worth it and the view is stunning especially on a sunny day, lazing on a picnic mat or bean bag. You can snack on a wood fired pizza or nibble on a platter of cheeses, bread and dips, dried fruit and pickles.
