We have been out twice with Spot X. Nothing caught the first time, which was right after the main holiday season, though it was a beautiful day to be out on the water. Got a few nice ones the second time. We also saw dolphins playing in the distance. Such fun. At the moment 400m has to be kept from them. Nice skippers, both very pleasant and didn’t hang around spots too long where nothing happened. The catch was shared at the end - which was fine as we caught a few - but that should be signaled at the start of the trip. We’d go again. They supply water and coffee which saves you taking it.

SpotX are undeniably the best Fishing Charter I have ever been on. Tish went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was comfortable and continuously offered refreshments, sunscreen and great banter. Hamish was a top bloke and really passionate about getting the team onto some big fish. Stoked to have caught my first kingy. The boat and gear was excellent. Both Hamish and Tish were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very well organized All up it was a great day out that we cant wait to repeat. Highly recommended, thanks again!
Great boat, great skipper, great weather. Slow day for fish but all part of angling. Everything controllable was perfect! Still enough to lead to a couple of great dinners
After 2 years trying to catch my first kingfish with not much luck I’m absolutely over the moon thanks to Terrance and spot x charters. Conditions where totally against us today, but with the skippers persistence and knowledge he turned it into a great day. Thanks again I will be back! Awesome charter and would recommend to anyone.
Great day fishing and caught 2 good kingi giving one to a bronze whaler. Great knowledge of where to go was the key as generally a quiet day. Very professional organization that were great to deal with and ensured a memorable day. Will be back when next in the Bay
Wayne was a fantastic skipper, very professional and friendly. We managed to hook a 12kg Kingy early on in the trip (even though we were on the snapper arvo charter) and by the end of it, the entire boat had at least a weeks worth of meat! Really great arvo and had a blast!
Thanks Wayne for a really great day.Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Just about to tuck in to our catch.
