Boats and kayak launch off the boat ramp at the end of the spit. Lovely place to kayak up to Matakana and back. Shame car park is restricted
Great place for brekky. I had Eggs Benedict, it was perfectly cooked and the portions were generous, served with a nice large pot of English-, no sorry, New Zealand, breakfast tea! Gorgeous food and gorgeous views out over the harbour, what's not to love!!

Great access to ferry but limited day parking.
From Auckland CBD about One hour drive to get here then you can get on board to visit Kawau Island, it’s a great day trip !
