I recently went to Lumino Silverstream after I got a sudden toothache and needed an appointment urgently. I’m terrified of the dentist and as such, have avoiding going as much as I should have. I can honestly say that this was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. Kathryn and her assistant were so lovely, took all my fear and nerves into consideration and made sure I was comfortable and understood what needed to be done or what they were doing each step of the way. I felt listened to and supported the whole time. I was also embarrassed about not having been to the dentist but I felt no judgement and they were both super kind about it. I now feel like I have the confidence to go back for a check up because the experience was so positive. Highly recommend.

I just had my wisdom tooth pulled out and it's the most nice experience I have ever had. the dentist talked me through each step of the process. I didn't even feel anything and he told me it's done. It was so fast and painless. I would highly recommend this place.

Great experience. My mother is a patient here, and has Alzheimer's and a life-long fear of the dentist. Dr Frazier Johnston's careful and kind treatment of her strikes a perfect balance between friendly and comforting, and professional.

I didn't think it was possible but I actually had a really good dentist experience! My dentist and her assistant were both great, friendly and informative. She talked me through what was going to happen and the actual extraction was very quick and most importantly, painless. Thank you Lumino dentists in Silverstream

Really gone downhill since re-branding Lumino - don't respond to email or pick up the phone often - when they do they are super vague and only have appointments 7 weeks in advance. Seemed happy when I said I'd go elsewhere! Avoid.

I had an assessment and got a quote for a number of fillings, then paid the money to get it all done. I arranged the appointments some months later and was told the price had gone up, so 40% of the work couldn't get done for the money i had paid. The work they did was good, but it's no wonder people worry about the cost of NZ dental care..
