Great practice, stretched at times but as are all our nations GPs. I recommend if you're living in the area.

Our wonderful GP rretired after more than 50 years of wonderful care. Never a cross word, never a problem. Prior to his retirement he joined this practice and on his retirement another doctor took over. No end of problems with some of the nurses. We were refused blood test results or xray results in spite of repeated requests, often waiting for an eternity for the phones to be answered, and then being they hung up on us, not once but three times. This is a practice of mostly part time doctors and we have found at a time of an emergency that there was no continuity and each time seen by a different doctor, messages left are not necessarily returned. Something wrong somewhere... this is an emergency waiting to happen.

I would give no star but not possible. Terrible service. I work for DHB and District Health Board sends me to get covid-19 test done at nearest medical centre and St heliers medical centre refused to do it. This is how we fight against covid-19. Such a shame for New Zealand and what a disastrous result for people who works in dangerous environments like myself.

New to the area and living in the building wanting my dressing to be refreshed as it was falling off, after knee replacement surgery, was told that they were short of 3 Dr’s. I was wanting a nurse, not a Dr. Was happy to pay for it, was told to go back to the hospital, when I have been taken off driving for 6 weeks.

We were just moved to this suburb last week. I took my four-month old baby here to register a GP here. The first day I came, they told me to fill out some forms and would call me next day. After they called and told me it’s fine to register here, I took my baby came here again. We have waited 40minutes here, I provided them with both me and my partner ‘s eligible passports and our baby’s birth certificate. But they told me that our baby cannot register here. I was trying to talk through the eligibility we have, but they refused to discuss it with me, just told me to go back the clinic where we were. Our baby got a citizenship here, I don’t know why we have to travel across the city to the older one to have my baby get immunization instead to have a GP near our house. This is ridiculous and totally unacceptable. I contacted the ministry of Health , they told me to show the eligibility email to this medical center, but I don’t want to go back this place anymore. Got registration at another medical center successfully at this suburb without any problems. Hope this place can get any better than it is now.

Absolutely outstanding medical centre. No problems here, been taking daughter to specialist here, really impressed with the service, as well as the chemist who is more than helpful and explanatory of everything you need to do with prescriptions. Thanks for that and thank you for looking after people with such professionalism and compassion.

My partner and I had our first appointment today. The appointment started on time and I was made to feel very comfortable and felt I could talk about anything freely. I would highly recommend St Heliers Medical
