Excellent tramping around Mt Somers- but note that DoC pamphlet published 2014 just before waterfall track was permanently closed, is still being handed out. I agree with other reviewers that "Sharplin Falls" carpark to Dukes Knob is steep and not really an 'easy' section as indicated in DoC pamphlet.

Sharplin Falls walk is still closed walked halfway to the huts to the lookout or awesome view

The walk to woodshed Hut is a bit steep for the first hour but worth it once you get to Dukes Knob.

Walked to Pinnacles hut and back. The views around the hut and the walk behind waterfall are superb. The walk has some steep bits and some clamber bits
