What a find! We stopped at the Tai Tapu in the late afternoon, not sure if the restaurant would be open to serve at that hour. We were the only people there, the waitress was delightful...so welcoming and the food was divine! And the kitchen performed magic! My daughter and I shared the prawn and scallop appetizer which was cooked in the most delicious garlic, lemongrass, cream sauce...almost like a chowder (which I was tempted to order!). I had a side of garlic bread which came with extra garlic butter and basil pesto...too good ! My daughter ordered the chicken salad which was so yummy with heaps of chicken and brie (or camembert), avocado and parsnip crisps. We highly recommend this gem of a pub located in a gorgeous setting!

We were there on a Tuesday night for a family gathering. Hardly any one there. I would have expected the service to be a lot better. No cutlery, paper towels or plates provided. Had to ask twice, staff were unfriendly. Food was good but expensive as was the wine. 22 for a 250ml glass. Its has a really good outside area.

Had the best Blue Cod in my lifetime. Service is excellent. This is not a drive by. It doesn't look big on the outside. It's like a tardis. The gardens are awesome. Can't recommend enough. Will definitely be a destination.

Drove an hour there to have a meal that we had booked in. Only to find out that they were having power issues and only doing bar snacks. Most disappointed. In saying that the pub and beer garden were great. Even had a bouncy castle for the kids. I will re look at my rating when I get back for a meal.

Always a pleasure coming here unfortunately today wasn't the day as we tried to order food but was told would be a 2hr wait which we weren't prepared to wait for so had a couple corna beers and listened to the band play instead nice atmosphere as always hopefully next time will get to enjoy a meal

The best meal both in flavour and value. Great service with plenty of dining options both inside and out. Lovely playground for kids of all ages. Will be going again and again!

What an awesome place to have a function! Had our Christmas party here (22 people) during the day and I couldn't have been happier. The venue was awesome, function room perfect and the Staff were even better. Would highly recommend. Thanks Jackie for organizing all of this :)
