Love the view. We have a quick stop for pictures and a short walk to the beach. Clean and have a public toilet.

Another beautiful East Coast beach. Can be good surf when the conditions are good. Can have rip currents in some places but is patrolled by the local surf club. Remember to swim between the flags and follow the instructions and advise given by the surf life savers. Water is quite cold around late December early January but there are sometimes currents bringing warmer water from time to time. Generally gets warmer around February/March.
Awesome beach enter the beach via the surf club on Paku drive or Hemi place.

Fantastic purchased some lunch and drove around to the in harbor beach sat at the table and had our lunch looking at the marina and the hill and the various architecture for the homes very interesting!!!
Beautiful beach neat walks and safe swimming in lagoon harbor area for small kids etc. Just a great area of NZ to visit.
