Fantastic experience! Safe and really informative guided tour. Stopped for a cuppa and biscuit. We stayed dry and warm. Suitable for all ages.

We had so much fun going on a half day tour with young Will, a local guide who is very knowledgeable about the history of the area from a cultural point and also marine wildlife. We felt very safe and were given a good safety brief of the equipment and correct techniques on how to manoeuvre the sea kayak. Light refreshments were an added bonus during a break. We saw so much on this tour, such as fur seal, stringray, various sea birds and dramatic coastline. I highly recommend taking this tour. It was amazing and they have really cool merchandise for sale.

We had such an awesome experience with Tony our Tour Guide, He made us feel safe and he came across super experienced. We saw the wonderful sights and he educated us along the way. It was the highlight of our trip. I'm a Mum with my 5 year old boy. Will most defiantly book again next year!

What an amazing experience. Lisa was knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. A full morning of history and wildlife information. Put this activity at the top of your list. An experience that all members of the family can enjoy.

Tony and Lisa are running a great operation and I highly recommend them. I first reached out to GB Kayaks interested in a multi-day kayak tour through the Abel Tasman. My wife and I are not experienced kayakers and as such had lots of question before committing to the tour. Tony agreed to meet us after business hours to discuss the plan and answer all of our questions. I was most impressed by his genuine interest in our safety above simply booking another sell. He ultimately made it very clear that we had to be comfortable with the risks were were undertaking in order to fully enjoy the trip. We instead opted for a day trip to get a feel for the kayak and water before committing to a multi-day tour. I also did a separate SUP rental and they were very helpful in recommending the right day and time for the best water conditions. Their business is located at the end of a lovely cove at the corner of the national park and the quality of beach here is lovely. It is not uncommon to paddle out to seals playing in the water. If you are looking to do a North to South trip along the Abel Tasman or simply looking for a nice day trip in a kayak or SUP I recommend you give these guys a call.
