This a magnificent spot either viewed from the top or below while watching the harbour movements with a coffee fro the shop there. Whether you go early in the morning for a fishing trip feed the ducks or take a plane excursion over Taupo the view over marina and lake to Mt Ruapehu are beautiful
It's a wharf for smaller ships and bigger boats! Nice on the shores of Lake Taupo, this is where the Ernest Kemp cruise boat, as well as several other tourist boats, depart from.
Lovely to walk around. Coffee place nearby. Also bathrooms. Lovely spot.
Great experience and the service was superb..
Great place to relax. Nice harbour. Sea shore is clean as usual. Cute flocks of ducks roaming around the area. Oblivious of the humans around them which don’t harm them anyway. This is the area where you can buy tickets for boat rides to see Lake Taupo. Awesome. Must visit when in Taupo.
A lots of good water sports options. Nice Marina.
We stop here to let the kids have a little break from sitting in the car. There's a public toilet which seems to be well looked after, and a cafe just opposite the toilets that has takeaway coffee and hot chips. There's a car park by the lake front which is great to stretch your legs, or you can walk around the marina and look at all the boats tied up
