Great 1 h trek, they were very accommodating to our 5 yr old daughter, who absolutely loved it. We booked for four, but at the last minute, our son had a medical issue so just mum and daughter went. After reading the reviews, we were worried about how that would go down, but they were completely cool with it and very kind (we had not paid in advance). If your kids are brave, I totally recommend this for the little ones.

Was easy to find and had really nice healthy horses. Guide was friendly and helpful. My friends and I really enjoyed it. Would gladly go again!
Despite the reviews we had seen we rang and they were very helpful, we took our son his first time on a horse they very good. well looked after horses one to suit our individual weight we had a great ride our guide was friendly. I would recommend this again.
Me and my husband are very happy to find this place! It was our first time riding horses, so it was great that all the instructions on how to turn or stop or go up and down the hill were very clear and accurate. Our guide was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful all the time. He even let us trot for a couple of minutes! And what is the most important is that we felt safe and happy all the time.
My husband and i went put for a trek today with Sam!!! If I could give them more stars I would. Both Sam and Finlay made us feel so welcome and safe. We could not have asked for a better experience!!! One of the highlights of our trip. Horses were beautiful and well behaved. We would return in a heartbeat. Neither one of us had a lot of riding experience and we felt so relaxed. The scenery is incredible. A must do!!!!
Awesome experience! Sam our guide provided good humour and reassuring guidance for us first timers. The trek was beautiful, through pine forests and up to an amazing backdrop of the craters of the moon thermal park for some photos. Will definately be back again!
Lovely forest ride with great horses, and a lovely guide. My friend and I took a one hour trek to the craters of the moon. I've been riding all my life, and my friend just started a year ago. Horses were good quality cob-types, safe, and fun for both of us. After double checking our ability, our guide Sam took us along the longer forest routes where we could trot, canter and jump some small fallen logs. The horses are well looked after and suitable for a variety of abilities. If we hadn't had to head home we would have ridden longer and gone on a second day. Highly recommended whether you're a beginner or advanced.
Cancelled on us two days in a row. Beautiful weather, no excuses...other than someone slept in! 9:30am bookings so we got up early both mornings to go and received a phone call one morning and text the next to say it was cancelled. NOT very happy customers.
