Myself and my lovely Lady go here often. We've been almost right through their menu now , even the desserts. Never had a fault . The wine is excellent , the beer is as expected ,,awesome and cold as hell .The food is incredible. The service is especially good . The price is sweet. These people wont bend you backwards when it comes to paying for a great Indian meal experience . I have no difficulty highly recommending House Of Spice . ( and I'm not paid to say any of this ) 10/10. Ross

Second time to an Indian Restaurant following a not so pleasant first time experience about 20 years ago in Hamilton. We had a magnificent meal which was recommended to us by the Manager. Completely restored our confidence re dining Indian. First class service by a really friendly and easy to understand Manager. We will definitely be going back there again. We recommend this restaurant unreservedly.
Fantastic. Everything was perfect. Friendly, well spoken staff, clean tidy & presentable restaurant, quick service & delivery of meal. Meal was hot, fresh & tasted amazing. We were not rushed in & out. Staff recommended dishes, taught us how to pronounce dish names & showed us the Indian way of eating a curry! The chap who served us was lovely, honest, friendly & very personable. We dined in. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Was a regular buyer here, however I've just been delivered the wrong meal and ordering the mixed meat platter I have received the mix platter which has mostly vege options. Rung up as soon as I opened it and got told I'm in the wrong and just continued to argue with me, simple bringing the right meal in replacement after a simple miss communication would've solved this. Hope your 18 and a regular customer is worth the review, worst customer service and won't be buying from here again
Wow so yummy. Had quite a lot of choice for vegan dishes. Our curry was really yummy, probably the best I've had. The waiter was so lovely and friendly too, we were both impressed. Can't wait to go back and try out some of their other dishes :) Thanks for a great service.
Super-tasty, fresh and generous. We ordered the prawn curry, saag, starters and breads, and all were amazing. We were visiting Tauranga from Auckland and were nervous about straying from our "usual" order but were blown away by what we had. Now can't wait to go back...!
