Very lovely place to take care of all your needs for nails. Best massage and lots of colour options for nail polish to choose from. Have been coming here for about 3 years and the management has just changed. The new staff/owners are very responsive to the customers. *Easy to book appointments *Friendly service *Professional staff *Good costs for range of services *Welcoming atmosphere *Clean tools of the trade *Nice light, relaxing space Will keep coming back to Material Girl - lovely people, it’s the people that makes the best impression for me as a customer.

I absolutely LOVE material girl nail and beauty salon. I refuse to go anywhere else. They are always welcoming and friendly. I love the quality of nails I get done. The team are willing to fit me in wherever possible at short notice. Material girls biggest fan! ️

Ladies don't just don't. I came here as my usual technician was unavailable and my god I almost walked out. I stayed one to see closer just how awful this place was and two I was desperate for my nails to get done for a short notice event. Cleanliness Disgusting, everything cabinets, nail polish, electric files etc had a thick layer of dust and grime and powder from nail filing. Worn out tools etc Seats were grubby, nail clippings on the floor and the tables hadn't been wiped. Mirror and basin was dirty only clean thing was the hand towels. This business deals with hands, bacteria, fungus and its this dirty?! Quality of work Acrylic back fill, staff member lounging around eating and drinking, manager chatting away to technician about her personal life in an unprofessional manner. Nails were poorly shaped, and polish was so diluted it would not harden even hours later. I had to go elsewhere to have my nails redone. Paid 10 more than my usual girl for a terrible job. Absolutely love this place! Was in some real need for some nail r'n' r and wahlah, was recommended from the teams at TnT, Postie plus, 2plus shop, even Salon One who has their own nail tech to go to Material Girl :)) The team here, Bekka, Alex, Monisha and Hannah were Amazing with a capital A!! Gr8 customer service, communal chatting with loads of laughter. Sugarsoap scrub and hot towel with yr pedicure, and a hot towel after our gel and french nails. Team were definately Blessed to bless others. Feelin pampered and restored. Thank you very much

Had a pedicure today and it was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. Jan did my nails beautifully and the massage was amazing, she really took the time to give me a beautiful perfectly polished look after, I will definitely be back!

Manicure was uneven and chipping by day 2. Pedicure was excellent. Two different technicians. There's informal and there's unprofessional. A line was blurred in this business.
