Bought the budget Jobmate lawnmower from Mitre10 which came with a surprise. The lawnmower boxed up was already used, so had to return it and Mitre10 happily replaced it with a brand new one. The tools that come in the box are absolutely useless to put the wheels on, so you'll need your own shifter and pipe wrench or pliers to tighten the nuts properly. Make sure you put the handle on the right way, otherwise the catcher won't go on. But the tool guys at Mitre10 were really helpful in getting the mower sorted, so now I don't have to pay a contractor to do my lawns

Check out staff are always pleasant. Can be a struggle to find section staff, when you do they are always knowledgeable and polite. They even have a DIY quoting service in the trade department, for everything from foundations to fence.

Good customer service and friendly staff. Always helpful with suggestions when I am working on stuff. Today I went in and grabbed a few things for my guinea pigs. The hutch is awesome and the pet carrier is great too. Always a massive range for diy projects.

Normally reasonably happy with this store and their service. However, very disappointed that their web page says that they are open after 1pm on good Friday? I left my workshop in Tauriko at 12:30, and as I had half an hour to wait until they were open at 1pm. I went and grabbed some lunch to fill the gap. I returned to Mitre 10 gate pa at 1:20pm to find they were closed all day. I don't have an issue with being closed good Friday, but I waited in town 50 minutes longer than I needed too before heading home to Katikati. Only to find their web page is wrong.

Great shop. Lots of stuff for home, garden, and car. Kids playground in here to keep kids entertained while you shop.

Excellent team there are very helpful and friendly. Has an instore cafe and play area too keep the kids entertained. Plus side is they have all there counters manned so doesn't take long too get through checkout area.
