The staff here are all very lovely. I have been in the queue and witnessed first hand, the woman mentioned in these negative posts, dealing with a rude, aggressive customer. She handled it really well and was calm but firm throughout this horrible incident. Visibly distressed, she had to continue to serve the waiting customers as though they WERE the most important thing to her. If it was one of the people posting about her, then she gave them more time, patience and respect than they deserved.

I had a very disappointing experience in this shop today. I went in to post a parcel to Australia( my daughters 30th bday gift ) and had the parcel already in a box I had pre-purchased at the same shop along with my completed customs declaration. The woman behind the counter told me I had the wrong customs dec. when I told her I had been given it by the other counter within their own shop when I purchased the box she told me “ well their not post shop so they don’t know”. Basically telling me it was my fault . Why would the other counter even have the declarations then ?? . The woman proceeded to be generally patronising and unhelpful . I’m guessing she posts parcels more than I and could have provided a lot more assistance and maybe just some basic service ?.

Like the other 1 star reviews it comes down to the poor customer service from the “blonde brown haired older lady”- who will tell you no and then stare at you from behind the counter instead of providing any sort of helpful assistance. If you are having a great day and want to be brought down a peg, visit her at the Bethlehem Post Shop. All the other staff are friendly and helpful, but I’ll probably call ahead from now on to make sure I visit during her lunch break.

Bad customer service happened twice. 1. Less patient when people ask questions. "If people ask questions, I will have no time." That is from one of the male post officer. " 2. Another post officer refused give me the EMS form poucher, when I received email from NZ post said I can get one. Answer from that lady was " I don't know."... "Buy another shipping pouch." ... My advice is get really well prepared if you have to go this post office, show the evidence you want they to provide the service, but they may say I DON'T KNOW. Otherwise, choose another NZ POST OFFICE. PS. Surprise, I am not the first give them 1 star.

Worst post office/bank experiences at this Bethlehem location. Lady with blonde brown hair, slim, older, gives the worst customer service. Terrible experiences that we felt we had to write a review to warn people. She always treats you like you’re bothering her and is never helpful. My son went to buy a stamp and mail a letter, she told us it was a package because my son had taped a small flat plastic token in the card which you could hardly feel or would weigh much at all, we went to another location, it was no problem to be mailed as a letter. My husband recently had the same lady who refused to help him because he didn’t bring his own pen to fill out a form, he went to another location, no problem at the Tauranga branch. We avoid this location even though we live in Bethlehem.

The old woman with blonde/brown hair has the worst customer service in Tauranga. She was rude the entire time and was of absolutely no help at all. By the looks of many of these reviews, she seems to be the common denominator in the poor reviews. Maybe it’s time to show her the door.

Went to get a prepaid travel card. Got there at 5pm. Was told that couldn't help me as only one person in the bank part, need to leave counter to make copies. As far as I'm concern very poor customer service... your should be open for business til the time you post or change your hours posted. If your going to be open then make sure it's staffed fully. I made a special trip to this store/bank to get this card.

The older woman with Medium length blondish brown hair and glasses is the rudest person I’ve ever had to deal with in customer service, everyone else was lovely but her nastiness made such an impact on my day it made me make this account just to leave this.
