Would strongly recommend not using this branch for any mortgage related services. We made an appointment with their mortgage advisor; when we turned up we were told we would be seen by the branch manager instead. During the meeting it was incredibly difficult to get answers to simple questions like "how much can we borrow". Instead, we had to keep suggesting prices of houses we would like to buy, and then she would tell us if the bank would lend us that much. It was like pulling teeth to just find out the amount we could borrow. Once we finally got the number, she gave us the forms to put in a formal application. By the time we arrived home, we had an email saying she had done her figures wrong, and we couldn't borrow anything at all. Shocking experience, waste of time. I love Kiwibank, but dont use this branch

i went today in this branch, and this gorgeous young woman was very accomodating. it was an awesome experience though.

Am feeling totally disrespected and under valued by large organisations that think that it is OK to supply only a call centre number, ask for a whole lot of details then put you on hold for at least 20 minutes. It is disgusting. And I thought changing to a NZ owned bank would be different. But I guess nobody reads these posts anyway. Gary Lovell
