The owner Erin is absolutely incredible! She was so accomodating from the very start, allowed me to come and view the cattery, and went absolutely above and beyond. I have placed my kitten in a few catteries around Tauranga before, and have been to view most of them. By far, The Big Meow is definitely the best!!! It's very clean, the cat enclosures are spacious and have everything your cat needs to be comfortable, they have an outdoor area that they get to go into, and you can tell each cat gets lots of love and attention. Erin sent me daily updates and photos on how my kitten was doing (knowing how anxious i was), and when we picked him up, he was super relaxed and happy. There is absolutely no doubt i will be using The Big Meow as my go to cattery from now on. I cannot thank the The Big Meow enough for taking such good care of my little boy Hunter.

If you are looking for a place in Tauranga for your cat to be well looked after while you and the family are away. I can with confidence say that "The Big Meow" in Greerton is 110% the place you need to be sending your family cat to. Erin is beyond wonderful and is a fantastic carer. Rates are the best in town and facilities are perfect for the cats. Our family cat Thomas loves going there. I highly recommend this cattery to anyone. In the last few months he has been there half a dozen times. Thank you Erin for all you have done for us in the short amount of time. Happy new year to you and your family.
Our cat is very well looked after by Erin when he stays at The Big Meow. Very clean and well set out for the cats there, definitely recommend.
We recently travelled to the South Island right on Level changes, travel plans hanging off the Govt announcement. We were fortunate to proceed. All our dealings with the Big Meow were first rate, fantastic communication, messages from our Cat on Holiday- which the kids loved, Very clean facilities and super considerate Owners.

Amazing, loving and friendly cattery run by folks who know what they're doing. Erin is fabulous and looked after our kids (cats) as though they were her own.
