Great spot to relive history with markets on some days, many shops and a few radio stations to make you feel like dancing. There is also a lovely bakery (The Whipped Baker" with a basic breakfast menu & selling the best donuts & Freaking Shakes in Tauranga

Love this place but was disappointed with the length of time it took to get in the gate for today's plant show. 50 minutes. It wasn't very well organized for the amount of tickets sold. This place has so much potential.
We love the village, it takes us back in time. It is always lovely to take in the ambience and go back time and time again.
Great experience, friendly people, passionate people and some awesome vinyl on sale. Bonus of a jazz festival on when we went. Will def go back
We were searching for places to visit in Tauranga and nobody ever told us about this Historic Village. What a charming old western looking village! Featuring the past, it brings us the feeling we traveled back to the old days. Theater, coffee shops, radio station, chapel among other attractions make this place a mandatory visit. Will come back again this summer definitely!

Had such a fun day at the Jazz Festival 2021. Great to also wander around the beautiful boutique art galleries and specialty stores.
Always lived this place! Such a beautiful part of History. Highly recommend visiting The Historic Village
