Excellent massage course! Beautiful genuine people, warm down to earth hospitality, comprehensive and clear teaching with a focus on the body and mind as a whole system, as well as honest constructive feedback. The love in what they do is very apparent. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to experience it.

My wife & i were gifted a night away by my daughter to VillaDonna Retreat, we received a Lovely welcome by Donna the owner & were taken to our unit a storm was brewing and Donna said I'll up grade you to our sauna room so you'll be more comfortable it was lovely and clean nice Queen size bed 32in tv with recorder & lots of DVDs, in the room behind us was the kitchen everything there including tea & coffee milk etc. The room behind that had the sauna & rear back door. We weren't booked in for any massages etc so we went to town for dinner. Next morning Donna bought us over the biggest most delicious vegetarian omelet nicest we've ever had. Thanks for making us so comfortable cheers Don & Katrina.
I completed the certificate in massage course and I would recommend this to anyone, whether you want to take things professional or not! I not only learnt how to give massage confidently but I was also given other tools to support mental health and how to connect with your body. Overall an amazing experience, the knowledge between Donna and Gordy was amazing. Thank you both so much

Complete down time, rest, relaxation, nourishing food and peace. The retreat cabin hideaway is very luxurious and bed is very comfortable. The massage and the breakfasts provided is truly amazing. The energy is very good around the place and healing. Worth every dollar you spend. Thank you so much for your valuable time Gordy and Donna. My 3 day retreat experience totally exceeded my expectations both in terms of the experience and value for money. Donna and Gordi made me feel very welcome and the retreat is a lovely haven. The massage training course was thorough and well worth it. Being on the receiving end of two lovely massages and the Rekei training and treatment were added bonuses Will I go again? Absolutely! "Utmost Respect and Trust, The man with the Golden Hands" It has been many years since a dear friend introduced me to Donna and Gordy and it has been the best decision and advice that I will treasure always. After a bad experience from early massages with other therapists they have restored my trust enormously that I have regular monthly massages. As I try to age gracefully unfortunately the body doesn't behave how it use too even though my brain is still pushing me to drive myself harder and further. Gordy possesses the Skill, expertise and knowledge to release all those knots and ailments to realign my body back to where it should be. I always leave, feeling like I could take on the world. He has such golden hands and I trust him unconditionally knowing that he will "fix me". I admire Gordy's wit and brutal honesty! no bells and whistle tell it like it is attitude!, which gives me not only a great massage, an ab workout also from laughter! I absolutely love the new venue, so peaceful with spectacular views that relaxes you completely. Gordy and Donna are both amazing people that are stuck with me for life. So grateful and blessed!! I've been going to see Donna & Gordy for over 7 years now, and always go back when I'm in Tauranga! Their skills, individually and together, are a powerhouse. Both excellent massage therapists, with an incredible knowledge of how the body works, and a huge range of complementary skills. Gordy is a wizard at identifying and fixing long term problems that are beyond other therapists, and yoga sessions with Donna have focused on my specific needs and empowered me to continue improving in my own time. You know when you meet someone who knows their craft inside and out - and I wish all 'therapists' were as therapeutic as these guys. Add in their wonderful personalities, welcoming nature, and awesome humour; I couldn't recommend them highly enough!
