We had the pleasure of staying at this motel recently. Although old style our room had new fittings and was freshly painted. It was absolutely spotless and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Owners very nice folk too.

This was such a cool motel, the hosts went above and beyond. We had the tiny room and it was so great with everything you needed and more, exceptionally clean and tidy. Highly highly recommend.

Lovely location beside a bubbling brook (hence the name ‘Brookby’). Host was charming. Accommodation was in excellent condition nothing old or worn. Mature garden with orange trees and huge Bougainvillia and lots of bird life. Small balcony. We have been traveling around NZ north island for a while and this was the best place we stayed.
