Great service so nice adopted a new family member
This was harder to find than the signs suggested and you need to drive down the road in front of the airfield that curves off to the right. But once you're there the staff are super helpful and the animals well housed. I didn't get a cat on this occasion but was given plenty of information and options. Well done guys
I was very disappointed when i went to find a dog for myself... i was hoping to find a little dog who might be in need of a loving caring home. The staff didn't seem bothered to get up out of her seat to assist. She took a look at my disability and from where she sat, literally decided and stated we had nothing for you or didn't even bother to say.. We can have a look if you like. I asked if i could leave my name and number just in case something might come.. i was told.. we don't take peoples names...if you want a dog... to look on line. Totally upset by her approach... and hurt by her dismissal attitude.. like she couldn't be bothered to be helpful. Discussed this with a few of my colleagues and organizations in thame's about how i felt being treated.... Disappointed Thames SPCA...I hope things and attitudes change in how you treat folks who are genuinely caring about animals and pets.. I want to do an update on this review... Today i went back to see if there was a change.... I was greeted at the door... the lady was polite.. when i asked if they had a little dog for me... she quite clearly and politely responded with " No we don't have any little dogs at this time" but was lovely enough to ask me what kind of little dog .. its age.. or breed.. i was very surprised. She even jumped onto the phone to ask around in other area's if they had a little dog... sadly no at this time. But i was very impressed in her genuine willingness to help find one..." ... so this time around i had changed my rating star from a 1 to a 5 star so thank you Thames SPCA..really appreciated the effort so now agree this is a worthy place to come back too.
