Very beautiful place to visit. Great place to have a swim plenty of space bring the whanau and make a day of it or a weekend. Timaru has an awesome top 10 holiday park in the area.

Free experience that you couldn't possibly be asked to pay for but great to see nature at its finest. Get there at the right time and you'll see the penguins head out for a feed. Don't forget your camera!!

Great place to see the little blue penguins come in at night. One of the locals comes down each Friday and Saturday and give his time educate people about the penguins, really friendly and informative.

Good signage about pengiuns.( 5 stars.) Shame about the state of the beach. Looks like dairy effluent washed up on beach. Smelled awful. Wouldn't advise swimming. 《minus 3 stars)
