An outstanding athletic field by the Timaru Council, its of top quality and equipment available to use when booked. Well kept good use of space for both athletes and spectators. Thanks so much to the great friendly grounds staff--job well done!

The condition of the track \u200d️ and field is ok, reasonably well maintained. There are four long jump pits, a javelin throw area, shot put area and two throwing circles for discus and hammer. It feels smaller than Te Puna Wai athletic park in Christchurch. It does appear that this athletic park is under utilised. One good thing is that there are three permanent canopies on the bank to provide the spectators some shade from the sun while none at the Te Puna Wai athletic park. Would I go back? Maybe
