Charged me 1800 for "attempting" to repair the problem with my Land Rover - fault is the same as before the "attempt".....but insisted on payment in full, regardless of the fact that we were still unable to actually drive the vehicle ...you decide if you want to deal with "specialists" like THAT...!!! ----------------------------- Yes....some people are never short of excuses......you also forgot to mention that the Small Claims Tribunal asks you to replace the second hand part, you used, to replace with a new one....still waiting for that....8 months later......I am sure you will have an excuse for THAT as well.... Anyway, whatever the excuse....fitting USED parts and then charge them out as NEW is not acceptable practice and this is now a case for the Commerce Commission....there ARE laws protecting the consumer from such malpractice...... NOW, returning to the mysterious "multiple faults" you discovered, charging 600 for this "investigation", without actually finding the real problem......I took the vehicle to the local car electrician, who spent less than an hour tracing the problem to the ride height sensors, which were sending a wrong signal to the ECU, above a certain speed.....this cost me the total amount of 153......NOT the estimated THOUSANDS of dollars YOU mentioned at the hearing......but I forget, you are the self-appointed SPECIALIST, so you know best. Actually the only thing YOU managed to do is increase the vehicle's average fuel consumption from 9.3 to 10.6L/100km.....job well done.... but I am confident that a real mechanic can rectify this at the car's next service......

Great service. They have done some major work on our Land Rover Discovery II. Vehicle was up and running within a week even with spares having to be sourced. Highly recommend.
