We had a small disaster on our way home to Auckland last week, and we needed accommodation for the night. This was the first place I rang able to take us. Is it the Hilton? Nope, but they are friendly and helpful, and got us nicely settled, quickly. I don't stay in many motels because of cost, but this was reasonable, and the facilities were clean, and very welcome after a long day on the road.. Definitely recommend this little motel to weary travellers. Many thanks to the proprietors, we will look you up if we ever need to stay in Tokoroa again.

100 i paid for one night only. I was going to Birthday Party The Shower curtain was filthy needed washing or throwing away Draws were dirty and had stuff in them zig zag papers. No tea or coffee. I towel Place felt dirty Highly disappointed
Needs good clean No smoke detector Bed cover to small for beds Kitchen dining chairs unsafe Sit in lounge suite never to get out All crockery needs replacing Good bathroom for disabled but no shower stool but window wouldn't lock and no where to put toiletries or clothes on and no clean face cloths 2nd day Had to ask for milk Kitchen cupboards and drawers need realigning Open push out windows in lounge greeted by spider webs Smelt very stale Wouldn't sit at picnic table far to dangerous Was smoke detector that scared me
My review isn’t to complain but simply something the owners can work on. Water pressure weak may need to upgrade the water system, towels very small (big enough for children only) I’m a size 12 and the towels barely fit around me. Heat pump not working so had alternative heating which barely did anything. Appreciate having electric blankets. TV very small for a big space. Fridge stunk upon arrival please consider turning it on prior to guests checking in. Beds very old, some harder than others some quiet soft and one of them felt as though the springs had gone. Bathroom needs a thorough clean as the drain for the shower made a puddle due to it being clogged up and also the oven was filthy.
