Comfortable accommodation is still available, but the cafe was not open at all during our week stay and the toilets/shower facilities for campers are almost derelict. Website needs to be updated to show the present situation. Very friendly and helpful cleaner/caretaker.

Very friendly and helpful staff! They went the extra mile when helping us out after a breakdown, tremendous effort! Great restaurant/bar, good food and free pool table :-) Clean and affordable accommodation. Highly recommended.
Just came back from a week-long stay at Big Bush and I had the best time there! The isn't anything Kerry and the team don't know about the area and what to do, and they were incredibly helpful with any issues I came to them with. I'm missing those amazing cooked breakfasts already! Would go back in a heartbeat.
Great people. Very helpful. Went above and beyond to help with our car breakdown. Accommodation was good, bar was great. couldn't recommend big bush highly enough.
Relaxed hospitality. Wonderful to be invited to stay for free (self contained) before and after doing the great walk. Truly accomodating, they came right out to pick us up when we finished the walk a day early.
Transport to and from the walk was convenient and easy, Rick was very friendly and helpful. However the accommodation was not as advertised. We stayed in a backpackers room with double bed. It was not the same place shown in the photographs and is incredibly basic, was cold and not very clean, very scummy bathroom. No one was there when we arrived but the neighbour pointed us in the direction of our accommodation. No restaurant/cafe/bar as advertised either - we had to eat some of our food rations for the hike. Pig dogs barked all night and a free range cow damaged my car.
Nice house to stay. They have 4 rooms, only one with a double bed. The house is cozy and clean. You have to bring your food, because they don't sell any.
Really great place. Friendly and accommodating. Huge meals. Nothing seemed to be too much bother.
