Scenic and a Great lake. Nice view from the shore. Not sure why they named it as a green lake, but has witnessed a green pixiy dust falling from the trees due to wind. A small kids for kids. My 7 years old daughter enjoyed the rides very much. A must to visit place.

Less than 15kms drive from Rotorua. It is awesome to see green and blue coloured lakes from one view point. Blue lake can be used for aquatic activities but green lake is considered as divine, so those activities aren't allowed. View point is 500 meters ahead of blue lake. Parking and toilet facilities are available
