Arrived wet and tired to a very warm welcome and a complimentary hot drink. Spotlessly clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Roast Dinner and drinks that night in the large dining hall was great. Continental breakfast and we were off to complete the trail. Staying at Cowboys was probably one of the highlights of the trail. Fully recommend this accommodation to any cycling the trail.

Despite the name, I’be been welcome by very friendly girls. I was the only guest, in a place which really reminds the old west. Funny. contrary to the wild west, rooms are very clean, food vegan (on my request) and a huge lounge room with hundred of DVD’s, all just for me. Sleeping in the night was very silent, dark and quiet. The only defect is price, which is too high. But there are no many choices around here.
What an experience, Paradise Lost is more like it! Myself and 3 fellow riders stayed much to our regret. The rooms are dirty and gritty. Dinner is not a pleasant pastime - orders are barked at you regarding strict guidelines of your stay. I would highly recommend you bike for your life or completely avoid this part of the track!
Don’t book here! In November we booked and paid to stay at Cowboy Paradise in January. We had to cancel a few days later. Their terms state that is you cancel within 14 days you will get a full refund. Despite numerous emails the owner, Mike, did not refund our 270. In March when I filled a claim with the small claims tribunal they refunded the 270. Stay away.
We enjoyed our stay, rooms were clean and well set up. The evening meal was basic but very nice and plenty of it Entertainment was ok.
Quirky and different . Our meal and accommodation OK . Staff friendly as was the owner . Said no to the" pole dancers" offer to put on a display at our dinner time .
Myself and 3 mates stayed there last night . Good shower , plenty of food and lots of red wine followed by some memorable entertainment. We found the host to be ok . Your in the middle of amazing wilderness, chill out and enjoy.
Riding the West Coast Wilderness Trail we were greeted with “you’re obviously passing through, I have no Accomodation available.” I was then roundly abused for leaving my bike in the wrong place for about 4 minutes, long enough to use the urinal, for which I was also roundly abused! In future we’ll just ride straight through.
