It's an older property, but it's ok. It's quaint, old-school-country-town lodgings and that's exactly what we needed for a one night stop over. Its close to town and supermarket. (10 minute walk along footpaths or 2 min drive) it was well equipped and had an excellent shower pressure. Theres a small park like area for kids with a basic playground and basket ball hoop, plus a nice pool. Mature trees for shade. Very private. 2 bedroom unit was roomy and clean, pool right outside the room which was lovely. So refreshing after a long drive. Owner was very nice, welcomed us warmly and gave us advice on places to eat or delivery options. The unit had a full stove with oven, and microwave, so you could cook your own meal if you wanted. Is it the Hilton? No it's not. What it is, is a good, clean, affordable place to take a break from the road. It's a comfortable base, in a nice spot, with everything you need in short term accommodation. Would stay there again if I ever pass through for sure.
The guy checking us in was very helpful and gave great tips of what to see in the national park but the room wasn't all that good. There were spiders and spiderwebs all over and the bathroom was not to my liking.
For a nice Quiet getaway it was Fantastic. Pool was good and the room was cozy.
