This is a hidden gem. Just a couple of minutes of state highway one, this is the perfect place to stop for lunch on a road trip. The staff are friendly, the service is fast, the location is nice, and most importantly the food and drink is great. They have a variety of interesting counter food and a small but good menu. This also has the feel of a small, local business and with these times, it is a great place to support.

Delicious food and friendly staff! Very very cozy..! And they also gave biscuits to all the dogs!!! Our dogie was sooo happy about it and we came back the very next day haha Highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Cute wee place, and not on the busy side of town Perfect for those who have stopped going southbound. The river is just a hop skip and jump away, so enjoy a cuppa, treat or more post a wander. Also they were very accommodating of my takeaway cup - thanks guys

We had one of our best breakfast here, with true Montreal style bagels prepared with great attention to detail. The little shop in the cafe is full of quality food items that would be otherwise hard to find, such as French mustard or organic maple syrup from Quebec. Highly recommended!

We found this wee gem of a place purely by accident on a trip from Auckland to Wellington. It is now one of my favorite cafe’s. The cafe is tucked in the back of a fishing tackle shop. It’s tiny, and cute, and the menu is small. The food is spectacular!!!!! The maple roasted tomatoes with bacon is actually better than any breakfast I’ve had in years. Well done to everyone who works there. I will definitely be back!

Stopped for lunch on our way through. Great food. I had a fig and blue cheese gallette and a plum tart for dessert. Great setting amongst the trees.

Nice location off the main road. Good little loop track along the river around the block. Food is delicious, the coffee was a little burned. Staff are super friendly.
