I enjoyed my stay here, the unit was pretty spacious and clean. It was a lovely place we had, warm and cozy. I like the view of the park from the balcony, with lots of feeding and flying birds and a rabbit hopping around. Enjoyed watching the sunset from my window too. Just a warning though, I went out for a walk in the park and this bird was making a lot of noise. I ignored it because it was quite far from where I was but then in a flash it came swooping down on me. I ran for dear life . I tried to walk back again and the bird did the same thing. So watch out for that one.

Truly love this place - been here several times now. Donna really takes care of the place and it is very clean and ordered. Extra plus for a spacious toilet (compared to previous experience) and a european shower. Almost loses a star for limited internet-solution - but the service you get for the price is excellent.

We stayed in the 2brm family unit It was tidy but my daughter found the upstairs a bit stuffy and she is asthmatic. Was disappointed that there were no movies at all but is advertised as 50movies. Disappointed that online booking says 144 however paid 210. Parklands across the road cost 180 was very clean, fresh and had movies. Donna was lovely but probably would not be staying again.

I was going to book online , and when called to inquire about heating,Lady asked me not book online for one day @144 and she will not accept booking from booking.com and don't accept me once I will be there,quite frustrating. She was asking 220etc :( ...(Quite rude)... so should check before booking!!!

Was well worth the stay. Unit 8 is the best. Own kitchen, 3 bedrooms, clean and very warm. Not far from Whakapapa. Was really happy.

The owner, Donna was very helpful. (book at office pay Donna not bookings.com or trivago.. My Mrs's loved it & sleeped so well. We'll go back

Our stay in Settlers was better than we expected: 1)Place was spacious 2)bed was so comfy 3)for a 3 hotel, services were over the top. 4) spa was conveniently ready for us. 5) Donna (reception/owner) was super friendly and accommodating. She is our lifesaver at that time. Very kind person. Thank you for the experience. Highly recommended.
