We booked sunday night for a monday pick up for the tongariro. We were concerned about weather but Rose was very informative and kept us informed. We were able to go. Prompt pick up from our hotel in turangi. We were given a helpful brochure for the tongariro crossing. We got a txt from rose several hours in, checking to see how were were going and she timed it so that she was at the end waiting for us. Rose was lovely, informative and organised. We are super happy with the service and would absolutely book again
Door to door service from Rose was excellent. Arrived on time and even picked us up early when we arrived prior to the pick up times! Friendly, comfortable and efficient transport. Made the day stress free!
We booked a shuttle from another company, which just let us left behind with their only bus. We called them and they said, that we have to make our way back to Taupo on our own. Turangi Alpine shuttle saved us! We are so thankful. They brought us at least to Turangi and called our company again. After a long decision they picked us up in Turangi. Thank you so much for taking us back for free and caring about your customers!
Rose was absolutely the best. She answered all my emails, helped with storage of excess luggage, on time and great service. Thank you for helping me have a care free journey.
Our shuttle for the short trip between the carparks of the Tongariro crossing (20-30min drive) was 50min delayed. We did not get informed while waiting. There was no apology by the driver. On request via e-mail we were told that this has to be assumed during busy days. It’s hard to believe the amount of visitors has been the reason for the long delay. The roads were empty and we saw other companies doing a round-trip while we were waiting.
Booked 6.30am shuttle for trip from Ketetahi to start of Tongariro Crossing. At 7.45am still no pick up, no email, no phonecalls.Tried calling contact number and no reply, left several messages. Other companies picked up several times while we waited. Finally drove to office in turangi to be told by a very disinterested Rose that the mountain was closed - funny really as so many other companies were still operating. We were told an email was sent 2 days before to advise cancelation, but Rose unfortunately wasn't able to locate it when she checked. VERY poor service and Very annoying! Will rebook with TCS who were friendlier and cheaper.
Found these guys very accommodating for Kaimanawa tramping pick up and drop off. The road ends can be dodgy to leave cars
