Good for kids
It was clean, well located and well priced. The facility is a little old and basic but it was entirely fit for purpose. The proprietors were friendly and the showers hot with high pressure.

Shocking Cabin! We were bad luck to get a very run down cabin, it looks like a haunted cabin. End up we decided to drive straight back home after the whole day tongariro crossing rather than stay overnight there. They not operate as typical holiday park chain, they charged for blanket and wifi. We booked this place because the whole Turangi's accomodation were booked out this day! But end up paying 62 for a haunted cabin without blanket which we were only stay in for an hour to decide whether to stay or go.and the decision is definitely go!!

Not the flashes place but it clean and tidy great for a cheap over night stop. The cat is friendly and the best feature of the camp is the water pressure.
We stayed in a family cabin for a night in a sunny day. It was clean when we got there. However it was quite hot inside and there is no fan or anything to make it cool. Opening every window and doors did help a bit. But it got quite cold in the early morning. Remember to bring your own blanket as none can be found there. The park is safe and quiet. Our kids enjoyed riding their bikes around the park. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed overnight in a 4 berth RV. Plenty of space in a powered site and not busy when we were there. We had 2 dogs with us. Facilities included communal kitchen, dining, lounge, bbq areas which were good, clean and adequate. Friendly staff and efficient service. Easy online booking system.
Have been to this park few times. Very nice staff and super friendly. Our plan was delayed but staff still set us a nice quiet spot when we check in past midnight. Staff gives us a nice spot based on our vehicle type also won't disturb other travelers during the night.
