great walk. begin with skinny road and bit of uphill climb. then the rest walk is kind of easy. The view from the top is awesome. you can see almost half Hutt Valley from there. we really enjoyed this 2.5 to 3 hours but not too difficult walk.

Was a great mountain bike ride entering from the SH and following up to some old forestry roads. Nice views, would be great to take a dog for a run. However coming down the other side I hit a locked gate saying 'keep out'. Didn't see any signage before that indicating that no entry so not sure what the go was there.

This is a good long walk with a steady uphill climb. Fairly good views. The down side is that the main path is shared with motorised vehicles that keep passing by and tend to splatter you with mud. Keep your dogs and kids close so they don't get run over. No toilets or rubbish bins. Take water to drink. Towards the top there is a foot path for hikers only.

So many amazing trails and 4WD tracks to run, bike, hike or drive on. You can even take the dog on most of them! Watch out for unexpected steep hills, river crossings, and dirt bikes speeding around corners.

really great place to go to for some relaxing and enjoy nature. Did notice there was some bits of rubbish somebody left behind... let's all Kiwis and visitors to our outdoors look after it and take away any rubbish we bring...
