Really nice hike to do. You've to be kind of fit to do this hike. Due to logging work going on I had to walk the first 3km of gravel road before the Castle Rock track starts. It's a hard track to walk make sure you bring good shoes.

This was the best walk in whole Coromandel! Hard and muddy way to the top, but the view is it worth. so amazing!
Highly recommended for both the hike and the views. Quite a steep hike at the end but totally worth it.

Seriously one of the best places to visit in Coromandel. If you don't have time to do the long 6-7 hours pinnacles track, do this. Short, steep though. Amazing 360 view. We got up to the summit in about 40-45 minutes. Highly recommended!
Best short walk with incredible views
Didn't manage to go this time, but I've been up a few times in the past, very nice walk.
