5 stars for location but 3 stars for amenities and 1 star for no dump station and dodgy smells.

Only stayed one night , would've loved to stay a week or more ,but had to move on & get back for work , great facilities, staff & a cafe next door with beautiful beach across the road

Nice big campsites and good kitchen with fridges and cooking plates to use. Toilets and showers were in good condition.Cafe attached that provide ice creams and takeaways and other useful things like ice bags. Different sections of the campground are sitting in bubbles between the bush and site has good mix trees to give some shade. Best of all right across the road from the beach which is broad and unspoiled. Will definitely return to this campground.

Great camp ground, beautiful camp site, plenty of trees with large camp sites, loads of hot water for kitchen and ablution block. Plenty of room for your boats, boat ramp just down the road. Amazing beach across the road. Very lovely proprietors. This is how New Zealand used to be, friendly, helpful and genuine people, made to feel at home.

Great family campground across the street from a beautiful swimming beach. The staff are cleaning the kitchen and bathroom facilities multiple times a day, but if the campgrounds are fully booked things can still get a bit dirty from so many people using it. If I could make suggestions, I would add some fans in the toilet/shower area for airflow and would get newer refrigerators and stovetops. Fridges and freezers were a bit old and did not reach a cold enough temperature for my liking. Very friendly staff.
