We had our best ever fishing rip with Terry and Michael of Fishing Waiheke this week. Michael's fish finding skills on a blustery cold winters day were second to none and we came home with several great feeds and some cooking tips to boot! Terry was fabulous with the kids who all brought in some dinner and even got to have a go at the wheel. We all learnt some great fishing tips and had a fabulous day. We would certainly recommend Fishing Waiheke and hope to return :)
I can't recommend Fishing Waiheke enough! Terry was so easy and pleasant to deal with during booking, and he also happens to have the biggest fishing boat on the island that I could find! Terry can take groups of up to 14 which was perfect for us - plus he was extremely accomodating when we changed our group size last minute, not charging us for the people who didn't turn up. My family had the "best day ever" out on the water. They came back absolutely glowing with positivity and joy and couldn't stop raving about the entire experience. Everyone from the 24 year old to our eleven year old plus the older folks all had the time of their lives. We had an afternoon booking and everyone caught enough fish for us to have the most delicious fish dinner when they returned home. Terry even filleted everything for us and then let our son drive the boat and took the group to feed sharks. Everything from top to bottom was a top notch once in a lifetime experience. We will certainly be back next time we're in Waiheke. Thank you Terry and Mike!
Had an amazing time fishing with Terry and Mikey. We couldn’t stop pulling up massive Snapper, even got a couple of Gurnard. The charter was filled with lots of good jokes and they even solved all my IT issues. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great day out.
What a great experience this was! Managed to hook a few snapper and a yellowtail kingfish. All cooked up amazingly well too! Loved the highlight at the end too!! Best kept secret Thanks so much Terry & Mike !
Fabulous trip. Really enjoyed by all the family, kids, parent and grandparents alike. The instructions were awesome and we caught enough fish to feed a small village . And over half went back !! The sharks we're an amazing suprise which topped of a really 5 star day. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolute great day out fishing for a friends 30th birthday. There was 8 of us out on the boat and we caught a lot of fish. Terry and Mike were great company and very knowledgeable, most of us hadn't fished before but it was so easy to pick up. To top it off Terry filleted the fish for us and took us to see some Sharks afterwards. We will definitely do it again
