It was a natural paradise outside with the various birdlife woodpidgeons ,tuis,kingfisher etc the view spectacular looking out to sea.If you are after peace and quiet this is the tranquil place to be.Highly recommend The nikau apartments.
We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment Positives: - high quality and well maintained apartment with everything we needed for a long weekend - Great peaceful and private location 5mins to Onetangi beach and surrounded by stunning rolling hills - Friendly and helpful owners Negatives: - the Nikau and cabbage trees have grown to block out much of the stunning sea views- the photos shown online are from a few years back ( the lower apartment seems to have uninterrupted views though) - the driveway to the apartment is lined by weeds which doesn’t set a great first impression for an expensive luxury accomodation

Absolutely Loved our stay at the Nikau appartments Stunning views cosy appartment and well designed!! Can't forget about the Great Hospitality!!! Highly recommend Nikau appartments and will definitely be going back when our little girl arrives Thank you Sue and Gus, it was a blessing to meet you both and we'll see you guys next year Lovely couple!!
