Visited twice over Christmas after having a great experience a few years ago. Both times were amazing. The food is consistently good, with super fresh ingredients and flavours. The wait staff were also very attentive. We hope to be back soon!

A magical short stay in Rose Cottage. From the initial easy, friendly welcome everything was made super easy and relaxed. Cosy, clean and comfortable accommodation and the BEST welcome hamper and breakfast ever. Would definitely revisit and recommend.
Beautiful setting, amazing service. The food was the best I have had in the north island! Even gave us a vegan option and didn't complain. Chefs put so much love into the meals, I want to come back again and again. To top the evening of we looked around the vege garden, it was magical! Truly a place that looks after its customers
We had a girls weekend away. Such a special place and special people who work there. Incredible food and amazing value for money.
Just brilliant, I took my staff there for a belated Christmas get together. Service could not be questioned and the time waiting was well spent talking and laughing amongst ourselves and spending time with the little members of our group. It was such a pleasure to see our lunch arrive, the presentation was a joy to the eye, the flavours were a joy to the palate, and the quantities ensure you will not leave hungry. I have been several times in the past and hope that I will have the pleasure to visit again soon.
My partner and I stayed in the waterfall cabin for a couple nights, and had dinner at the restaurant the second night. Everything was superb. The cabin was lovely and had everything we needed. The owners and restaurant staff were consistently helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We really love the ethos of this place! The fresh air and natural surroundings made for a rejuvenating stay! Will definitely be back again!
Wonderful. Beautiful location, delicious food and great service. We rode there from Waihi along the Hauraki trail, got caught in a down pour and arrived soaking wet. The staff were brilliant and got us blankets and sorted us out without any fuss. Highly recommend!
The setting was lovely and our waitress was very nice. However the margarita pizza was far too heavy on the garlic, they got our order wrong and some of the other staff were not particularly friendly. We would go back and try it again though.
