It was a charming cafe. Great service with homy and soulful atmosphere. They are serving short order meals and a la carté foods. It is close to other shops in town so it is very convenient for a short walk to grab a nice coffee and other refreshments. The dining area is decorated with vibrant and impressionistic paintings from local artists. P.S. I wonder if those grapes in the front fence might be ready for picking when i come and visit again this lovely cafe.

We all have bad days and unfortunately I arrived for my virgin visit on one. The scones were incredibly doughy I couldn't finish 1 half. My business partner crunched down on a date pip so hard (in the scone) that i thought he'd broken a tooth. But all's well that ends well. The coffee was great and the lady looking after us refunded us the cost of the scones with a sincere apology. She also mentioned what happened to the chefs so that it doesn't happen again. So not a great start for me but a happy ending for you. We all get things wrong sometimes... Definitely go to Ti Tree Cafe. They look after you.
Oh god... those birds & all their droppings. For goodness sake.. to the owners... get a gauze over the top of your food business. It is not a good experience at all.
Interesting history, being one of if not the oldest building in Waihi. Great food and coffee. Good service
Great Café, highly recommended. We had breakfast, the big breakfast is great value, very fast happy service. The best place we have eaten in Waihi, will definitely be coming again.
