Nice and not-so-expensive hot pools. There are several pools, but the water temperature was almost the same everywhere. Shallow zone for kids, secluded stony poos with nice view for adults. Surprisingly, the pools are drained every evening (starting at 7.15 pm) so, the water is fresh every morning :)

Lovely to relax, warm water. Better to go earlier in the day when pools have clean water. We went late afternoon and pools were not too clean.

One of the best hot pool in New Zealand. It’s a bit drive to get to Waikite valley, but it worths the drive. There are a few different pools with different temperature and the view is just spectacular!

Be quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Beautiful. Cheap. This is a very suitable place for hot spring bath, suitable for families and couples. I will come here again next time for hot spring bath.

Great family friendly thermal pool complex. Be aware pools are warm to hot and younger kids may not be able to stay in the water that long. Nature trail is definitely worth the short walk.

The Thermal pools are next to small valley and closer to mountain ️ and river. The place is absolutely beautiful and calm. Not very big but enough to enjoy the multiple hot and luckwarm pools. Best for family and kids friendly pools. Has cafe in house to enjoy some snacks. Totally recommended if you are visiting Rotorua ️

When we get time we visit Waikite Thermal Pools, whether with family or friends. Best geothermal pools in the area. Ideal for everyone as pools are set at varying temperatures. Pools are emptied every night and refilled the next day with new water. Beautiful setting with nature (not overly commercialized)
