Beautiful in Summer to hang Disappointed that the walkway is NOT! maintained. Over flowing weeds across walkway and I'm assuming the small water pools are becoming suffocated . Otherwise it's a lovely quiet place at the time of visit.

We paid NZD 8 per adult in September 2020. We made the payment online as instructed in the camping site. Amazing view for sure but toilets were closed and there were two portable ones in the camping site. Do not park in the grass. You may sink. Btw the camping site was quite small.

Pretty small lake, but we pulled out some decent sized trout. Good track around the lake edge for a leisurely stroll, or run around a couple of times for a cardio kick. No shower facilities and portaloos are in place.

Lovely tranquil place to stay. Beautiful lake with an easy enjoyable walking track around, takes about 20 to 30 mins

Great walk for the dogs, has toilets and boat ramp. Great place to camp.
