Stayed for a week.. awesome place, great view, great amenities, very clean, reasonably-priced, extremely friendly & nice owners. Complimentary items like bread, eggs etc. provided in kitchen. Loved my stay and surely recommend the place. Loved the ambience with the rail theme.

Having a time of my life, it's a nice place just to get away from everything and the owner of the place David Cameron is awesome.
David the owner was so freindly and welcoming.He would do anything to assist, nothing a problem. Our daughter left her jersey behind which he quickly couriered to our home address. Stayed 4 nights with our 2 children, highly recommend a stay here, very relaxing and peaceful. Thanks David, it's rare to find people like you.
Such a cool place, you can sleep in a train , we went to on the Weka Pass Railway so the obvious place to stay. It was very affordable, no holiday surcharge, n fact we got Easter Eggs from the owners a lovely little touch, great atmosphere and quiet. Very relaxing, wonderful little get away
Loved it at first sight now that I know why this place has been named Waipara Sleepers with all the carriages as accommodations.
We stay there for 2 weeks and it was amazing! I really enjoyed my stay in the train wagon, such an experience. David was really welcoming making fresh bread giving eggs and always with good vibes!!! 100% recommend
Stayed here for one night just after New Years in the cute little railway cabin. Nice, unique property. Everything was tidy and clean. Owner was very friendly. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed 4 nights 2 adults and 2 children we slept in the train carriage and had such a good stay, David the owner makes the place. fresh bread and eggs very helpful
