An amazing property, a little anxious in going to a B&B but needn't have worried, Grant made us feel very welcome and then left us to enjoy this very special property. Gorgeous decor, including the artwork, spacious bathroom with an excellent shower and a lovely outdoor bath looking out to the estuary. Lovely and light with floor to ceiling Windows and ranch sliders being able to open up to the wrap around deck. Comfortable outdoor furniture including two bean bags to relax on. Extremely clean. Breakfast delivered to our room which was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. Owners dogs, Sammy and Bonnie lovely and friendly and very well behaved. What a find just a couple of hours out of Auckland for a total break from it all. Highly recommend this special spot.

Tipu is a total class act. Every detail is beautifully thought out and you can fully relax and enjoy yourself. I loved the artwork and furnishings in the lounge and bedroom, as well as the amazing outdoor/indoor bath! The room feels completely private and peaceful. They have kayaks you can take out for a paddle or walk over the headland to the beach for a refreshing swim. I am definitely going back to stay again! Breakfast in the morning was provided and it was delish!! Thank you for having us Grant :-)
