Great location! Spacious rooms! Lovely outdoor area! Pool and spa we're also fantastic. However, neither of us slept very well because the bed was so uncomfortable, and when I suggested to the host that perhaps they take the electric blankets off the beds during summer so the plastic part didn't dig into our shoulders she was very dismissive and said its hard to please everyone. It probably is... however I cant imagine anyone being a fan of that

My favorite place to stay in Waipu cove. Dianna the resort manager is the best! She is always making sure everything is perfect , spotless and just right for guests. She has done an amazing job upgrading the parking and BBQ area. Great accomodation close to the beach. I love love it. Thanks Dianna . See you soon . Madi x

Very happy with our 2 night stay and wish we had more time to enjoy the facilities. Walking distance to beautiful Beach and coastal walk to pancake rocks. Dianne was very accommodating for our late check in and welcoming.

Beautiful beach. Bit hot and not much shade. So take a hat and plenty of sunscreen. Sandy beach with lovely views. Has life savers on duty.

Right on the beach this modern motorcamp is a pleasure to stay. Lovely cabins, playgrounds for kids, clean facilities for all campers. Only disappointment was for an old fashioned cook like me that the hot plates in kitchen were so slow that I could do a code cracker while boiling my eggs

The name suggested this was a grand resort. Actually it was a rather downmarket motel. We had stayed at the Spencer on byron in takapuna the night before which was magnificent for the same price this was disappointing. The cost was exorbitant. It cost us 160 a night. It was worth about 110. Also both my wife and I had been bitten by insects. Totally overrated. I would give it 2 out of 10.
