Quite a frustrating experience. At first they said it wasn’t a huge job and would call me back with a quote for the work. But then they called me back once work was complete telling me it would cost me 740. Picked up car. Drove home. Problem not fixed. Went back paid another 230. Car still not fixed. They said I could drive it though. So home. Only to break down. Took my car to another garage. Needed new transmission. So I spent nearly a grand here for no reason at all. Can not believe they would not work out that it was my transmission. Completely wasted my money here unfortunately.

My car was shown serious lights and I visited at Taylor Auto Electrical and they said may b just a service problems and the cost will be 280 and it was expensive but I allowed them And they give me courtesy car for use. After 2 hours I was at home and they call me and said the cost of the car’s problems will be 790 dollars because of some more issues and I asked them it is too expensive and they say you car problems will short-out after this, I agree with them and asked to do but, next day around 1pm they call me and said your car have some transmission problem if you allow I will arrange specialised to solve this. Then I asked them you make 780 for what and they said it’s was first stage of checkup and know they will check on second stage and cost will be another 170-190 just for scan. But they was not shore about the problem they just was making money. Then I didn’t allow to continue and I paid 790. It was such a bad experience with Taylor Auto Electrical.

Went in with a few faults with my car. They fixed the easy things then told me I needed a new ecu and that mine was faulty to fix my engine light. Charged me 300 and my car was still broken and told me another ecu would be 400. Went home spent 5 on a sensor and boom fixed. Do not recommend

Horrible service, waste of time and money. Went to Taylor Auto Electrical to get my vehicle checked as the battery gets drained out every night, they did the battery test and there were no issues with it and advised that they needed to do some other checks which we were told would cost us 96 per hour and we agreed to it. After an hour we were told that they couldn't find what was wrong and the vehicle was not drivable anymore and we had to leave it there until next week since they would be closed for New Years holidays. After confronting that we drove it from home to their garage, they then advised that it will be ready to drive in the next 10 minutes which sounds so ridiculous. Anyways when it came to paying for the service, we were charged 182 for 1 hour that they spent on doing nothing but taking out the GPS and other accessories that were plugged in and plugging it back again to test if that's consuming the battery power. When we asked why we had to pay 182 instead of 96, they told us that there were two people working on the vehicle out of which one of them spent 1 hour on it and the other 40 minutes. They should have been transparent about the pricing, I really don't care how many people are needed to fix the problem, its their job to let me know the correct price before commencing any work. Wasted 182 on stuff that I already knew and the problem is still there. Horrible experience and service.

We paid 970 to fix our headlight. We went to VTNZ for a WOF & failed because of the unbalanced light! We returned to Taylor's, they then got frustrated with us & said there was a fault in the light that they failed to tell us about the day before! They had actually put in the wrong light bulb! Their customer service is appalling & they fail to own up to any mistakes they make. Do not recommend this place at all.
