Fast and friendly service. My beef burger was hot and yummy (with real bacon) and the strawberry milkshake was perfect. The cafe is warm and tidy, and the bathrooms are clean. A great place to stop.

Bacon and egg pie was good. Soup of the day was good. Kids cheeseburger was average. Overall not a bad place to stop. Wouldn't say it's any better or more reasonably priced than the cafe within Waitomo caves. And the Waitomo cave Cafe has amazing architecture.
Lovely place offering cabinet food, fresh baking plus a menu of meals and hot options. Large seating areas of tables and chairs, couches/table; even a pool table and an outside deck. Licensed for beer/alcohol. Good food, friendly service. A few groceries and gifts; a one-stop shop!
Stopped here for Dinner because the recommended Huhu was closed, and what luck as the food was delicious. I had the mashed potato, carrot and parsnip and cauliflower steak yum it was amazing and a veggie lovers dream. My husband had bacon wrap chicken, mash and salad, which he said was awesome. The staff were super friendly and the food amazing. Thank you. We would definitely recommend.

Stopped here for an iced coffee after going to see the waterfall. Lovey staff and great drinks! Perfect little pitstop! Will definitely be stopping again in the future.
Great Service from the staff, very accommodating. Worth the stop on the way home from Wellington
Not great, staff weren't bothered, not even serving as it was quiet they were outside had to go to them. Food was tourist priced and poor portion and quality, coffee barely ok. Obviously milked the tourists that used to be there.
